BREAKING NEWS... IT'S IDENTICAL TWINS!! No, Emmylou won't be getting a pair of sisters or brothers anytime soon, but rather yesterday Emily and I found out (after living a cruel, debilitating lie for 31 years) that we are actually identical and not fraternal twins! Just as we had always suspected! Of course, the DNA test is only 99.999998% accurate, but I think I'll trust the results anyway. Now I'm just trying to fathom the impact of knowing this monumental, life-altering information... As a fraternal twin, I never worried whether Emmylou would have trouble telling us apart, but now I can't help but think of how confused she'll be the next time we're all together! And isn't it strange to think that if Emily and Gary had a baby, their DNA also could have made Emmylou exactly?! These are just a couple of the issues I'll be struggling to understand in the near future. In the meantime, Emily and I are off to get matching outfits like these below.
