Yesterday Hope and I took Emmylou and John to Five Guys for our last meal together (at least for a while) and then to the park for a walk and to swing. We've had so much fun hanging out with them that it was hard to say goodbye, but I know we'll be seeing them again in a few months in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. In fact, yesterday we showed them how to put their hands up and say "throw me something, mister!" so they'll be prepared when they're perched together in a ladder for a parade.
