It finally stopped raining long enough for Emmylou to enjoy some outside playtime! She loves "hiding" in the bamboo (standing really close to the stalks) and we also got the sidewalk chalk out and initiated the sidewalk. Here are some pics, even though I'm still not such a great photographer (there's so much pressure now that I have a real camera!).

thanks for the encouragement! i'm still just shooting in the auto mode so they're pretty much what any joe schmo would get, but maybe i'll learn some tricks soon!

yes! she leaned down and kissed him right after i drew him. i probably shouldn't have let her kiss the dirty ground but i thought it was pretty cute so i took a picture instead.
btw, we LOVED the babo postcard y'all sent! so glad isla is loving jeero.
