BABY UPDATE
This afternoon I had another ultrasound where they measured the baby and he came out at a whopping 9 pounds, 6 ounces! Now I'm really wishing my OB had given me the go-ahead to have him today!
Although I keep having flashbacks to a TV show I once saw on TLC called "Archie, The 84 Pound Baby" (among my other favorites: "I am My Own Twin" and "The Man Whose Arms Exploded"), the good news is that once this baby comes out, that's already 10 of the 50 pounds I'll need to lose!

Good luck for the next week!
Andrew weighed in at 9lbs 13oz and the easiest delivery out of the three.
Hang in there...
damn that is a big baby. hopefully it won't grow too much bigger over the next two weeks. are you having a c-section?
and then a bit of mend it like beckham afterwards? :)
Yep, Alex, I'm having a c-section even if I go into labor on my own so it doesn't really matter how big he gets (assuming I can get to the hospital in time!). Apparently babies at this stage gain 1/2 - 1 pound each week.
It's just a little cumbersome feeling like I've got a watermelon hanging off my stomach.
BTW, glad to hear you were finally well enough to go back to work- I'm sorry you were so sick!
Those measurements can also be crazy off. They thought V was a 9 pounder and when she came out at 7.1, they were totally shocked.
Thinking of you -- can't wait for the news!
Good luck! Here's what a 10lb baby looks like at 2 months old:

Su español fue bueno. Yo sé como hacer los acentos en español. Escríbeme. Buena suerte con su bebé nuevo.
