Mother's Day Camp Out
We had such a good time camping out over Mother's Day weekend! A few of the highlights: spotting an armadillo only moments after arriving, hiking, bug-collecting, swinging in the hammock, and cruising around Lake Buchanan on the Vanishing Texas River Cruise.

Emmylou led Show-and-Tell with her bugs...

Look how pretty we all are on the morning of Day 3...

The view behind our campsite...
Mother's Day brunch: tacos al pastor, roasted corn and Mexican pastries! Super yum. Thanks, Em and Lizzie!
And this cardinal really liked my Mother's Day present: my new car! Thanks, G! :)
Welcome to the newest Riley!
We are thrilled that Levi Thomas Riley arrived last Friday, May 13th! Isn't he just precious?!
One last photo as a family of 4...
Tripp and Tate in the waiting room (thank God for iPhones and iPads).
Surprise! It's a BOY!
Tripp was thrilled to meet his new brother and watch him getting weighed and measured...

Emmylou and Miller got to meet Levi the next day.
Welcome, Levi! We love you already!

Royal Wedding
Since we are already up to our eyeballs in princesses at our house, I figured having a little fun with the royal wedding was par for the course. I was also thrilled to finally be celebrating a princess not marketed by Disney!
Alex invited Emmylou and I over for an English breakfast and to watch the wedding. After getting on her princess dress, gloves and tiara, we arrived at 7 a.m. sharp (the wedding was DVR'ed). I can't even begin to describe how excited Emmylou was about going. She could hardly sleep the night before!
Watching some of the wedding with Aunt Emmy:
Shepherd's Pie, scones, sausage roll, and Wills' groom cake!
Diana made an appearance among the cookies Emmylou and I made:
Gasping at the pomp and circumstance:

Hugs from Alex!
Bingo cards for watching the festivities:
And everyone was fascinated by Bonnie's fascinator...

Thanks, Alex, we had so much fun!!!
