Run like a mother
Two weeks ago I ran the Zooma half marathon at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort between Austin and Bastrop. Emmylou, Miller and Gary were going to come out and cheer me on until we realized the only way to get out there during the event involved having them board a shuttle between 5:30 and 6:30 a.m. So, instead I took a photo with the kiddos when I came home and I'm posting it so they'll always know how important it is to exercise to be healthy. I thought of them each and every mile and knowing I was running for them must've really motivated me- I finished in 2 hours and 4 minutes! I only wish they'd been there to celebrate with me at the finish line. Next time, for sure.

congratulations! what a great time. i can't wait to start running with you.
when i ran the sf half marathon by myself right before the wedding, i dedicated each mile to a different person and it definitely helped keep me company and going strong! emmylou and miller sure have a great role model in you.
YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR! As I've mentioned before, you inspire me. Not enough to actually run a half marathon (or full for that matter) but inspiration just the same. Way to go!
Yay!!!! So awesome, Becca. Not only are you an inspiration to them, but to me (and others...) as well! Way to go!
way to go Becca!
